91 Chevy 4WD Pickup is overheating, but the coolant is the same, why?
No steam or whistling is coming from the engine, just the temperature gage is hitting real high and won’t stop unless I turn it off. This started from on the way home, and I ran the heater to stop it from reaching real high, but noticed no steam. I let it cool down after 4 hours and tried again, and it started to overheat again. Should I add coolant to the recovery tank even though the bottle says I’m at the proper level?
Check to make sure the fan and thermostat are working.
